made into a movie starring Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl. The idea came
about while Brad Pitt was watching the heart-stopping thriller play out
on CNN and he was drawn to the heartbreaking love story of two journalists
who traveled the world to cover news worthy stories. Through the kidnapping
and subsequent killing of her husband Danny, she has given the world insights
into the dynamics of the war on terrorism; this she has done by showing
us that terrorism is a spiritual practice of defiance, this she has understood
