the Most Intriguing People of the Century, few would suspect this cheerful
grandmother of being the woman who got the world talking about sex. Beginning
with her radio program, SEXUALLY SPEAKING,
Dr. Ruth's unique style has allowed her to communicate her psychosexual
therapy expertise through books, radio, video, and even a web site. Born
in Germany, she escaped the Holocaust while at school in Switzerland, fought
for the Jewish freedom fighters in Israel, taught kindergarten in Paris,
and then immigrated to the U.S. in 1956. At 76, Dr. Ruth is a professor
at NYU and continues her own practice. Join us for an evening of candour
